The Palestine Solidarity Alliance hosted the LEAP Program at Hunter College to hear about its volunteers report-back on the Palestine refugee reality, and their summer experiences working and living in the refugee camps of Lebanon.
LEAP volunteers Rani Al-Hindi, Samantha Jaser and Fatin Jarara presented on their experiences implementing educational services in the camp to increase student access and opportunities.
LEAP is an educational empowerment program for Palestinian refugee-youth in Lebanon dedicated to nurturing the intellectual growth and creative curiosity of youth to become agents of change. Since 2010, LEAP has made a positive impact on over 3000 Palestinian refugee-students and over 200 volunteers.
